When harvested, it is easy for the trees to regenerate from the stumps, making it easy to restore crops.

Basswood comes from the Tilia family of wood and has a beautiful grain and texture to it. This can be enhanced by adding a stain finish or a polyurethane paint can be added as a finish, which makes the shutters scratch proof – perfect for the kids room or a window that gets opened and closed often.
